Terms of Service

These terms apply to mobile notary and loan signing services booked with JenaTechs Mobile Notary, based in Katy, Texas.

Not legal advice

We are a notary public, not an attorney licensed to practice law in Texas. We cannot give legal advice, prepare legal documents, explain what a document means for you, or choose which notarial certificate a document requires. For those questions, please contact an attorney, your lender or your title company.

Loan signings

As a signing agent, our role is to facilitate the signing and notarization process as authorized by the hiring company. We do not provide legal, tax, financial or lending advice, and we cannot answer questions about loan terms. Those questions go to the lender or title company.

Requirements for notarization

• Every signer must appear in person and present valid, current government-issued photo identification.
• Signers must understand what they are signing and sign willingly.
• We may decline or stop a notarization if identification can’t be verified, a signer appears unwilling or unaware, the document is incomplete, or the notarization would not comply with Texas law.

Online notarization

Online notarizations are performed over a live audio-video session by a Texas online notary located in Texas. Signers may be located anywhere in the U.S. and must pass identity verification, and the session is recorded and kept as Texas law requires. The person or agency receiving the document decides whether to accept an online notarization.

Fees

Notarial fees follow Texas statutory rates. Travel, loan signing, printing, scan-back, shipping and after-hours fees are quoted and confirmed before the appointment. Prices shown on this website are starting points, not guaranteed totals.

Scheduling

Appointments are confirmed by phone, text or email. Availability depends on location and schedule. If you need to reschedule, please let us know as early as possible.
